Alesis Q88 MKII 88-Key USB MIDI Keyboard Controller

The Alesis Q88 MKII is a USB MIDI Keyboard Controller that features 88 full-sized semi-weighted keys that are velocity-sensitive. The unit features a whole host of performance tools including Octave and Transpose buttons to access the full piano range, Pitch Bend and Modulation wheels to add expression and Transport buttons to gain control of critical functions within your software or DAW without having to leave the keyboard. There is even a Sustain Pedal input which adds a little more of a human feel, and the volume slider can be assigned to any parameter that needs to be controlled during performing and recording.

The Alesis Q88 mk2 is light in weight, ensuring that it is easy to transport. It is also bus-powered, making it a quality ready-to-use production tool when connected to a PC or Mac. Connections include a ¼-inch TS sustain pedal, ¼-inch TRS expression pedal inputs and a 5-pin MIDI output that enables standalone playability with an external power source (sold separately).

MPC Beats is a fully featured DAW, with its full collection of virtual instruments - TubeSynth, Electric, and Bassline. Melodics is an app with 60 free lessons that teach how to play and perform with the MIDI keyboards, pad controller and drums. Melodics is excellent for growing with you as you advance through the classes.
